Sowmya is my niece. We have raised her from childhood with good culture and traditional values. She is a B.Com graduate and has completed Masters level in French. She is now pursuing MBA and is also working as a French teacher in one of the reputed schools in Bangalore. She is an exceptionally good cook. She can cook South Indian, North Indian, Chinese and western vegetarian dishes with ease.
To describe about our caste background , we do not belong to any particular caste. My parents' (Sowmya's grandparents) was an intercaste marriage. My brother ( Sowmya's father) also married into a different caste. But for generations we have been vegetarians. So, we prefer alliances from vegetarian families only.
Myself and my husband, who is a Kannadiga brahmin, have adopted ISKCON culture and we follow Gaudiya Vaishnavism. So, we are very strict vegetarians and do not include coffee, tea, onion and garlic in our food habits. Sowmya has also been raised in the same culture.
We are looking for a broadminded and caring husband for Sowmya, who will respect our philosophy of life and believes in deep family bonds.
My sister has a Bachelor's degree and she is employed in private Sector as a professor / lecturer currently based in Kakinada. We come from a middle class, nuclear family background with traditional values.
